Like any sane person, I'm jealous of the internet's Ze Frank. He's million times more clever than I am, and soon, he should be about to be a million times richer.
The director of viral video sensation "How to Dance Properly" and a ton of other stuff is going Hollywood. Frank signed with talent agency United Talent Agency and is taking proverbial meetings with everyone in my hometown.
"He’s a self-generating comedic force and magnet for talent à la Judd Apatow, Ben Stiller, Mitch Hurwitz, Imagine—albeit in his nascent state of bloggerdom,” said Ms. Sheinwold, Ze Frank's new high-powered agent. “He’s a guy who, when we connect him with the right people, will be able to do whatever he wants.”
What Frank wants is to develop feature films. I, for one, would see any film as funny as Frank's daily webcast, "The Show." Seriously, check out Ze's take on JonBenet Ramsey.
Dreamworks was among Mr. Frank's first stops in Hollywood, and I personally confirm his reports of the snacks available at Mr. Spielberg's company. There is, in fact, free ice cream in the lobby.
