iPhone Requires 2 Years w/ Cingular

People have already started calling Apple's new mobile phone the "Jesus Phone," but one aspect of the thing is not miraculous: The plan.

Cingular confirmed that iPhone users will require a two-year cell phone plan and will not be sold without it.

So, there you go. SOL if you're already a Cingular customer and want to get an iPhone for the remainder of your plan.

no hard drive in the iphone. it's flash memory. but LG had announced a new phone (before apple announced the iphone) that does almost everything that the iphone does, and looks a hell of a lot like it. there could be another lawsuit on apple's hands..... first cisco, maybe now LG?

LG has a phone that senses when you put it by your ear or when you rotate the phone? oh wait does it also use finger gestures? come on...

it's called using a cloth to clean it off. Im sure it's gonna have the same type of surface as the ipod.

the iphone looks great and if apple is any reference, is going to work great. this phone is one, if not the must have gadget for 2007, with the wii of course. hate cingular though any thoughts

LMAO!!! and after everyone sells their soul for the phone they will release a slimmer, better version in 3 months and everyone will hate their sacred iPhone. Just like the new iPod that doesnt work with any old stuff that is released every other month, Apple will shaft you on this too.
