Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Stewart have been added to the roster of voice talent using their throats to give life to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. That's in addition to Kevin Smith doing a cameo, and Fantastic Four's Chris Evans, who will also be lending his voice to the project. That's some pretty decent starpower for a film that's, at best, a niche offering.
The producers of the film have promised that TMNT will be 'darker' than the old television shows, perhaps returning to the roots of the comic book, which was a little, shall we say, edgier, and a lot less pizza-centric than the cartoon. Could it be that this movie won't suck? I can't imagine it, but you never know.
