Amy Poehler, of Saturday Night Live fame, is bringing her witty comic stylings to a younger audience with the Nickelodeon animated series, “Mighty B.”
The show is about a young girl, Bessie Higgenbottom, voiced by Poehler, "who believes she can grow up to be a rock star, actress, politician and brain surgeon all at the same." The animated series will premier on Nickelodeon sometime in 2008.
A far cry from SNL’s Weekend Update, this will be Poehler’s first project in a long time that won’t be rife with lesbian sexual tension… we think.
