Did you know that there was going to be an Ocean's 13? Me either. Thing is, Ocean's 12 sucked so bad that it removed all of the buzz from a movie that's freakin' loaded with star power. Now, everyone just keeps wishing that the franchise would go away, so that these people could return to their real lives and stop making bad films with an insider slant that makes filmgoers want to puke.
Good news, then. Steven Soderbergh, the director of this pile of crap, has announced that Ocean's 13 is going to be the last film in the series. Hooray! Now, if the other two movies could be expunged from public record, we'd really be going somewhere.
Also, the only acceptible version of Ocean's 11 is the Sinatra version, a true Rat Pack feature, and a film that wastes more cool than the giant Pitt/Clooney dud is able to muster in the entire film. I even like George Clooney, but I wish he'd have passed on this stuff.
So, Ocean's 13 opens in June, if you're interested.
