Football Goes To The Films

At their development meetings, the NFL revealed that they are looking into the idea of broadcasting games in high-definition at movie theaters that have the ability to broadcast digitally. This is the newest in the wave of ideas meant to lead people back to the cinema, following live and taped broadcasts of concerts and other special events.

I have been to watch football in movie theaters, and it is an awesome experience. Sometimes, these games are even accompanied by themed meals and drinks, to round out the experience. There's nothing like sitting in a movie theater and having a hot dog vendor come by every now and again.
