GameStop.com To Sell 'Zelda' Bundled Only

Retailer GameSpot.com has an interesting plan for selling Twilight Princess for the Wii.

The website will only be dropping the much-awaited game in a bundle with a Wii, accessories and other games. They will not be offering the title "a la carte."

The bundle will contain a Wii, a Wiimote, Nunchuk controller, power and AV cords, sensor bar, stands, an extra Wiimote controller  and 1.0GB Wii Memory SD Card. Gameswise, it'll come with Wii Sports as well as Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Red Steel, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and Madden NFL 2007.

Not a bad selection of titles... but the pre-tax price of $694.88 is a bit, uh...steep.

According to GameSpot.com, the bundle's price is $44.97 more expensive than it would be bought separately. But you do get 12-month product replacement plan and a 12-month "gift" subscription to Game Informer magazine. Geez, thanks a bunch.

No doubt rabid Wii fans will line up to be fleeced anyway. Here's the page.
