Thailand is like your uncle. You know the one. He used to love to raise hell, but now he's all docile, and music is too loud for him, and he kind of disappoints you. Yeah, Thailand is just like that. The authorities are asking that Rambo IV: In The Serpent's Eye, which is filming in the area, tone down the violence a little, so as not to make Thailand look like the most violent place on Earth.
Also, they're asking that the film be a little respectful of the natural habitat in which they're shooting. Boy, it sure goes to show that things are different now than in the Reagan Era, when the last films were made. Then, no one cared about misuse of natural resources or too much violence.
Have we outgrown Rambo?
