With both the PS3 and the 360 touting "true hi-def" at 1080p, you'd think the Wii would be offering up more than 480p, but it's not. In spite of some preliminary reports that the Nintendo Wii would be in 720p, Nintendo confirmed yesterday that the game system will output in a very current-gen 480p.
That's not nearly enough p for my taste. I guess Nintendo wasn't kidding when they said they weren't planning to enter a hardware war with Sony and Microsoft!
