Black Sabbath is gearing up for a new tour…kinda…and without Ozzy…

Ya see, after Ozzy left The Sabs in the early ‘80s, he was replaced by a one Ronald James Dio for a few albums, including the classic Heaven and Hell. Since Ozzy has not been able to commit to making a new album or full-scale tour with his Sabbath mates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward since they reunited in the late ‘90s, the rest of the guy decided not to wait around and brought Dio back into the fold.

The name of the new band featuring all these legendary dude is called, of course, Heaven and Hell. No word on an album, but a 2007 tour is in the works. Iommi  and Dio have, however, already recorded a song for a compilation called Black Sabbath: The Dio Years.
