7-Eleven Inc. has taken a stand against controversial new energy drink Cocaine by pulling the product from their stores.
A spokeswoman for the convenience store chain said, "Our merchandising team believes the product's name promotes an image which we didn't want to be associated with."
The extremely caffeinated drink has already been pulled from locations in New York after some politicians made a stink. This is not the first time a food product has been pulled from stores due to the connection with drugs. Last year, marijuana flavored lollipops caused a stir with their slogan “One Lick is Like Taking a Hit.”
