The CW doesn't have a lot of margin for error. The new mergered child of the extinct WB and UPN has to know when to cut bait on a show that's not working. Runaway, a show about a family on the lam after being wrongly accused of murder, has been cancelled by the network after only four episodes.
You know. It seems like the lam is a bad place to be. I can't recall a whole lot of successful television based on being on the lam. Lots of staying home and not running shows are successful, but there's fewer of what we call in the industry "lam successes" than you'd think.
