Amy Heckerling has kind of an impeccable reputation. She did Clueless and Johnny Dangerously, which are two arguably classic films, and recently has been directing episodes of NBC's The Office. So, when she's got a new show coming to TV, odds are it's going to be pretty good. The show, called 1985, will be a look at a young girl growing up in the mid-80s. Kind of like The Wonder Years,  but in a different time.

Personally, I never thought that things would be so dour in the world that we'd be looking at the Reagan Era through rose-colored glasses, but that's where we are, people. Hopefully, it never gets so bleak that we do the same with the current era, which deserves to be locked in a closet forever just as soon as it gets done with. Just like the early 90s.
