Google Gives You Permission To Talk

Gmail users have been privy to a service that up until today was not available to the public-at-large, Google Talk.

With the recent Yahoo! and Microsoft announcement that they will allow users to IM each other despite different services, Google decided that their private chat network was going to be left in the dust if they didn't open the doors to the masses.

Before you know it, we'll all be chatting on the Goo-Yah-Soft.
