All of us have used, watched or posted a video on YouTube. Such an easy service to show the world your creative freedom or your favorite piece of pop culture. Why wouldn't you want to take part in the revolution of viral video?
Well, Mark Cuban has a thing to say about that....."Moron!"
In a meeting to a group of advertisers in New York, Cuban decided to let loose his opinions on this people friendly service by saying that it has no future and that any company looking to purchase YouTube to make a profit are "morons." Why, oh why Mark Cuban?
Yes, people post copyrighted material on the site, but whether it is on YouTube or not, people will always want a place to express themselves and in turn, this is an outlet for advertisers aka a place to make money. In a world where people can push a button and skip commericals Mark, don't you think that an ad on a webpage that relates to content might make more sense?
Just cause you developed a search engine, got billions of $$$, a basketball team and a phat pad doesn't mean that you are not a "moron" yourself for not snatching up YouTube before someone else does.
Best of luck Mark, can't wait for you to be kicking yourself in the ass on this one.
