Our special guest today on TheFeed is the mighty Gus Mastrapa.

Not only does he rock an impressive mullet, he also writes for The Onion's A.V. Club,Hustler magazine and X Play.

Gus says:

The ESRB continues to catch heat from Senators eager to lose support of young voters. Kansas Senator Sam Brownback is putting his weight behind The Truth in Video Game Rating Act, a bill that would require those who assign game ratings to grind through every fetch quest and unlock every big head cheat before they slap that T-rating on the package. This comes after several highly publicised ratings changes for content that was overlooked by the ESRB.

Meanwhile, the MPAA movie ratings board operates under a veil of secrecy that government busybodies rarely bother to peek their noses under. Check out the documentary This Film Is Not Yet Rated to see just how much independence this coven of wannabe movie censors enjoy.

Somebody at the ESRB needs to buy Jack Valenti lunch -- the guy knew how to keep Congress at bay.
