New York’s famed punk club CBGB is finally shutting its doors after a long fight with the landlords to keep it open.
October 16 is the closing date for the historic club No word yet as to what acts will perform on the final night. The club helped launch the careers of bands like The Ramones (right), Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Dead Boys, Pere Ubu, Suicide, Robert Gordon, and more.
