Rosario Dawson has finally got a film franchise to call her own. These days, you're hardly an actor without a franchise. It's what pays the bills. Dawson will star in a film version of O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Taskforce, which is a comic about a cop who finds dark magic and spirits that help her solve difficult crimes.
Think of it as Murder She Wrote meets Gothika. You got that in your head? Now add the blistering Ms. Dawson, and you're just about there.
The talk is that this film will be the first of several in the series. Hence, franchise.
