George Lucas, one of the most famous graduates of the USC film school, is paying his alma mater back...in spades. The man is donating $175 million to the school, $100 million as an endowment, and $75 million to pay for structural refinements and other cosmetic issues. It is Los Angeles, after all.
This comes just two weeks before the film school announces a new name for itself. Wanna take any bets as to what the name of the school might end up being? Take that, Spielberg. You've been p0wned.
