An Australian jerk that drugged and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl got sentenced to 10 years in jail. Arthur Fairwell claimed that he believed he was rocker Ozzy Osbourne and when he heard that Ozzy was accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl at one time, he was merely following in his footsteps.
The attack took play in Bradbury, in Sydney's south-west in May 2004. The 39-year-old had pleaded guilty to six offenses, including aggravated sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of administering a stupefying drug.
The judge says Fairwell has a long history of treatment for mental illness, but that there was no evidence to suggest he was delusional or psychotic at the time of the offences, she said.
I think his excuse is BS. I mean, if he was really trying to be Ozzy, wouldn’t he have bit the girl’s head off?
