The ashes of deceased Winchester, Kansas man Justin Manning and the urn they were housed in were stolen from his grave last week.
Manning died July 25 in a car accident on Interstate 70 and was buried in Bonner Springs Cemetery. Unfortunately, grave robbers swiped his remains.
But here’s the really weird part: the thieves left lyrics to a Slipknot song behind at the gravesite!
"I strongly make an appeal for the people involved that they return the cremains," Manning family member Brent Wallace said.
There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the return of the urn and its contents.
No word as to what the hell Slipknot has to do with this other than the the assumption that the robbers have really bad taste in music.
