Foxy Brown was a no-show for her court hearing Wednesday to face charges filed by Rasheeda Ellis, a former consultant to her management company..
Judge Cynthia D. Jackson told Brown's lawyer, Brian J. Neary, that the rapper should attend the next hearing, before granting her request for a probable cause hearing, which was scheduled for Sept. 26.
Ellis has filed two complaints against Brown, but Neary said he would ask for the charges to be dismissed.
"Foxy says she's never had a problem with this woman," he said.
Brown, 26, is also facing a trial in New York, where she was charged with assaulting two nail salon workers in 2004.
