News Corp., the new owner of MySpace, is taking the first steps toward turning the social-networking site into a platform for serving mass-market entertainment. The service launches in October, and Fox movies like The Omen and X-Men 3 for around 20 bucks and Fox TV shows like Prison Break for two dollars an episode.
