All 5 "Star Trek" Captains To Appear In Game

Posted by Stephen Johnson - Monday, August 14, 2006 10:36 AM

This is huge news for both Star Trek fans and gamers: All five of the captains from all five Star Trek series will provide voice talent for upcoming 360 and PC videogame Star Trek: Legacy.

That's one game featuring: Patrick Stewart, Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew and, of course, William Shatner. The collaboration marks the first time the five actors have participated in a single Star Trek project together.

According to Bethesda, Star Trek: Legacy places you in the role of the Admiral of a task force of warships, which you control in small and large-scale battles. Test your strategic and tactical skills in real-time combat featuring over 60 authentic spaceships, full damage modeling, and spectacular visual effects.

For more info on the game, check out the official site.

If they can pull off a good game that would be AWSOME. But I'm a little skeptical they will.

Could be Star Trek's answer to KOTOR. Sounds pretty awesome.

While i'm ignoring soul_sama's silly little comment I will have to say this game is getting better and better. This news just adds to my excitement.
