Wes Anderson, aside from making terrific American Express commercials, is one of the most exciting filmmakers in the United States. He's announced his new project, The Darjeeling Limited, written by Anderson, Roman Coppola, and Jason Schwartzman, and starring Owen Wilson. In short, the whole Andersonverse is on board for this one, except Bill Murray, although you can expect him at some point, I'm sure.
If you are stupid, or live under a rock, Wes Anderson is responsible for Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums, and The Life Aquatic (with Steve Zissou). He is a visionary, both as a writer and director, and, if you haven't seen his films, you should. Now. I'll wait...
Wasn't that great? Now you know how cool this news is.
