Nintendo revealed today that it will attend the revamped E3 Media Festival. The Japanese company is the first of the three major console creators to say whether they will attend the conference.
Nintendo UK PR manager Rob Saunders told GamesIndustry.biz,, "I can confirm that Nintendo will be involved in the E3 expo next year."
What their presence will be like and whether Nintendo's pals Microsoft and Sony make it remains to be determined.
According to GI.biz a Microsoft representative said "We're supportive of the move ESA has taken. It's still early days, and we're not in a position to talk about what Microsoft will be doing in regards to next year's E3, but we'll be making an announcement nearer the time."
A Sony spokesperson said: "We'll be making a statement about our plans for E3 in due course."
