G4 has landed the exclusive basic cable broadcast rights to syndicated sit-com Arrested Development, and will begin broadcasting the show in October.
“We’re very happy to be able to bring Arrested Development to G4,” said Neal Tiles, President of the network. “It’s one of the best television shows in recent memory, and we’re happy that it’s found a home here. As the fastest-growing network in television, G4 is looking forward to bringing Arrested Development to a whole new audience, and giving fans a place to watch the show they love so much."
In case you missed it, the Emmy-award winning Arrested Development tells the story of the disfunctional Bluth family and their imprisoned patriarch. The show's brilliant ensemble cast features Jeffery Tambor, David Cross, and Jason Bateman. A cult favorite since it first aired on Fox in 2003, Arrested Development is known for its quirky humor and devoted fanbase.
