If you aren't a World of Warcraft player, this post will be all but incomprehensible, so feel free to skip ahead. Anyway, every World of Warcraft player is practically drooling over the soon-to-be-released expansion. It features one new race for each faction (Horde Blood Elves and Alliance Draenai), a new profession (Jewelcrafting), flying mounts(!) and a higher level cap (70 instead of 60).
But Blizzard recently dropped the biggest bombshell about their Burning Crusades expansion: Horde Paladins and Alliance Shaman.
These classes, each formerly relegated to a single faction, have been the biggest bone of contention among the WOW community since the days of the game's beta test.
While the uniqueness of each faction will definitely suffer from the change, the endless PVP arguments that spill over into the internet will finally end. The Alliance will finally stop saying "The Horde owns us at PVP because of SHAMAN!" and instead be forced to admit that their constant, embarrassing defeat at the hands of the undead and orc masses are because the Alliance are a bunch of snivelling little weak-ass bitches.
