Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine has announced the mega-lineup for his second mega-tour, Gigantour. The other mega-bands set to appear (besides his own) are Lamb of God, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Overkill, Into Eternity, Sanctity and the Smashup. The first Gigantour featured Dream Theater, Fear Factory, Anthrax, Nevermore, Life of Agony, Dillinger Escape Plan, Symphony X, Dry Kill Logic and Bobaflex.
"This is the concert that I, as a heavy metal music fan, would want to see," Mustaine said in a press release. "It is going to be something to look forward to each year, to see what kind of tremendous talent we can assemble for Gigantour festivals in the years to come."
Gigantour is scheduled to shred across 25 cities, kicking off in San Diego on September 7 and wrapping up October 8 in Sunrise, Florida. Megadeth’s new album is due out this fall and is titled United Abominations.
