It's Official: PS3 Online Will Be Free

That the PS3 would feature free online play was hinted at at E3, and now it's been confirmed, at least according to website PS3land.com.

The site quotes an unnamed Sony Computer Entertainment America PR Manager thusly: "Please note that online gaming will be free right out of the box."
