The biggest story of the week was the heating up of the cold war between the two music games out there. Previously, the Rock Band camp and the Guitar Hero camp were relatively quiet and respectful of each other. But no longer. With countless millions on the line, things couldn't stay friendly for that long. The bone of contention: A Rock Band patch for the PS3 that would make GH 4 guitars compatible with the game. Harmonix issued a statement saying the patch was being blocked by Activision... then, later in the week, Activision responded with a sort of nuh-uh, blaming Harmonix and MTV for the lack of a patch. But that's not all that happened this week by a long shot. Click the break for everything that went down.
