Turns out the cake is true!
Sony, in celebration of the first birthday of the PS3, sent us a cake. That's it above.
Much like the PS3, it tastes delicious.
There's no more to this post; we just wanted to be like, "We have cake and you don't."

Once a film actor has reached unimaginable success both critically and financially in both comedic and dramatic realms, they earn the right and the means to do whatever the hell they want. Which is why we’re praying to God that Bill Murray stars in the remakish sequel for Meatballs.
Paul Newman made salad dressing, Brangelina adopted Africa, and Tom Cruise became an alien. So, we can only hope that Bill Murray in his infinite, quiet wisdom will elect to use his Untouchables status for good and not for evil. *Feed glares at Nic Cage*

You already know that, each week, after the 10PM ET airing of Heroes, G4 has a show called The Post Show, starring Kevin Pereira and Blair Butler. What you should know is that this week will feature some really cool things on that show, including an in-studio visit with Hiro Nakamura himself, time-bending Masi Oka.
There will be a virtual audience chat with Masi, as well as a segment called Stump Masi, in which they will ask him questions about his own life, to see how well he knows himself. And, if that weren't already enough, Hayden Panettiere gives us a peek into the psyche of the world's most famous cheerleader, and tells us about some of her favorite show moments.
It's all on The Post Show, 11PM ET, right after Heroes at 10PM ET. Only on G4.

The MMO Report is proud to be back into our regular weekly schedule. And just to show how much we missed you all, we present you with a brand new episode for your eyeballs and eardrums.
But before we begin, a lot of you have been asking for/commenting about WTF Second Life. To be clear, it's not a regular weekly segement. Yes, there are things happening in Second Life every day that makes us go "WTF?!?!", but we save our method of genius ridicule for the oh-so-special incidents that tickle us pink until we're running for the aloe lotion.
So sit down, dim the lights, slip into something comfortable, and press play. Enjoy the show, enjoy the weekend, and enjoy your Friday night drunken slap fights. This is...
The MMO Report.
Send all your adoring comments, or teeth-nashing hate mail to TheMMOReport@g4tv.com

Hunky actor Ryan Gosling (Fracture, that Real Doll movie) will star opposite music legend Tom Waits in French-born Icelandic writer-director Dagur Kari's upcoming film The Good Heart.
Gosling originally dropped out to make The Lovely Bones instead, but the scheduling has worked out that he can go return to the cast of The Good Heart.
The film is about a bartender (presumably Waits…because who else would he play?) who takes in a young homeless man under his wing.
It’s not an actual wing by the way…’cause then it’d be a human-chicken movie, which would be just plain ridiculous.

Jeff Bridges could be, is maybe considering, and is rumored to have said that he would possibly mull over playing an aged version of Flynn in the announced and molassesly-paced production of the TRON sequel.
Wouldn't it be awesome to see him back in whatever world they throw him into, though? He should get zapped into the internet and be forced to battle LOLcatz and penispill spammers. Well, maybe that's a bad idea. I should just let the writer's take care of - Oh, never mind.

It's sad, but the downloadable "Xbox Originals" that will be available on December 4th will not give gamers achievment points.
According to Major Nelson' sblog, “These are the original games that were created before Xbox 360. In order to preserve the integrity of the original gaming experience they provide, they will have the features available at the time of their initial release.”
So no gamerscore-boost for you, man.

The only rock ‘n’ roll tour that matters right now and the one everyone (including me) said would never happen, Van Halen with original singer David Lee Roth back at the helm, just got extended into 2008.
