If the above image looks familiar, it's because you've seen it before. This is a piece of concept art from the highly anticipated role-playing game Fallout 3. Pretty sweet, huh? Well according to US-based terrorist watch group SITE, this image is a "computer generated image, showing how Washington D.C. would look after a nuclear attack... posted on a radical chat site." Congratulations, we are now all enemies of the state.
What's funny is we're not sure who to blame for this hilarious example of just how clueless some of the people responsible for our national security are. Is it the fault of SITE and the privatization of our international intelligence agencies? Or the Australian news publication that posted it? Either way, this story gave us much entertainment, we hope it does the same for you. Just make sure you don't buy Fallout 3, you'll end up on the terrorist watch list.

Canada is thinking of joining other nations (including the U.S.) in taking Draconian measures to prevent piracy. The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), would give border guards the ability to check laptops, iPods and even cellular phones for content that infringes on copyright laws, such as ripped CDs and movies.
This is without a warrant or a court order, of course.
ACTA also proposes forcing internet service providers to hand over personal information pertaining to "claimed infringement" or "alleged infringers" of copyrights. Again, without a warrant.
The agreement would create a governing and enforcement body separate from other international organizations like the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.

The single most requested feature for the PlayStation 3 is the elusive "in-game XMB" that would allow gamers to access their friend list and more within games.
Rumor has it that this could be coming in firmware 2.4 along with trophy support, which is Sony's version of Achievements.
We don't believe it just yet as this rumor seems to pop up before every firmware release, but maybe this time will be different.

Namco-Bandai's gore-soaked horror action game Splatterhouse is coming to the PS3 and 360. The game, based on the 80s arcade hit, combines visceral, "adrenaline-soaked combat" with horror elements to deliver a gaming experience that "defies the boundaries of the traditional action category with over-the-top gore and shocking new gameplay mechanics." Sound intriguing?
Here's a gallery for you, and we've posted the official press release under the cut, in case you want to drown in bloody information.
BTW: No release date yet, but we'll let you know when we know.

Yakuza 2 is a PlayStation 2 game. That's not a typo. PlayStation double.
Sega's violent, crime-based actioner comes out in September, and we gotta say, for a PS2 game, it looks pretty sweet.
But the question is: Did you keep you PS2? If so, would you buy a game for it?
