This week, on Fresh Ink Online, Blair Butler has so many notable comics that she barely has time to contain them all. But she does talk Powers, Halo, Justice League, Penance, Buffy, Logan, and Pax Romana. Whew! That's a whole lot of comic bookery for you. We sincerely hope you can handle it!
In response to reports from across the internet, Rockstar games says they will patch the 360 version of interactive wedgie simulator Bully: Scholarship Edition within the next week.

Hey, remember that kid who had his autographed 360 erased by Microsoft's tech support department? And remember how Bungie promised to make it up to him?
They made it up to him huge.
Legendary Edition Helmet signed by most–if not all–of the studio staff
Halo 3 Soundtrack (two disc) signed by Marty O’Donnel (with “DO NOT ERASE!” written under his name)
Bungie Jacket
Bungie T-Shirt
Halo 3 Messenger Bag
Two Halo 3 Limited Edition Wireless Controllers (one covenant, one human)
Halo 3 Faceplate and Skins for Xbox 360
Four McFarlane Action Figures (MC, EVA Spartan, Brute Chieftan, Jackal Sniper)
Halo Actionclix Preview pack (Target exclusive sticker on the front)

The first Sega Genesis branded games on the Wii virtual console will be Puyo Puyo 2, a puzzler and Powerball, which I remember as a super-fn game that combines rugby and football into a new, hybrid sport.
They'll hit this months. Prices start at 800 Wii Points.

I learned many important lessons from Run DMC, but the most important of them all was the one about my Adidas. My Adidas are dope.
Now Adidas (the company, not my shoes) and Samsung are teaming up (like Run DMC teamed up with Aerosmith) to produce a device that plays music and keeps track of people's workouts.
Also, I can't live without my microphone.
Samsung's miCoach music-mobile phone even encourages people as they run, telling them to "speed up," and giving them updates on their heart rate, time left in their run, etc. We hope it yells "fatty!" and then sings about Christmas Time in Hollis Queens ("Mom's cooking chicken and collard greens...")

Fearing a security threat, the government has asked that Google remove Street View images that are taken too close to military bases. The pictures from google were taken on public streets, meaning anyone could take the pictures, but Google listened to the Pentagon anyway.
Gen. Gene Renuart, head of the military command responsible for homeland defense, said, "It actually shows where all the guards are. It shows how the barriers go up and down. It shows how to get in and out of buildings. I think that poses a real security risk for our military installations."
Google spokesman Larry Yu said, "We have been contacted by the military. In those instances where they have expressed concerns about the imagery, we have accommodated their requests."

Contradicting the suggestion of Blizz-Activision president Bobby Kotick, Blizzard says Starcraft 2 will not have in-game ads.
Kotick: "because it is a short-session experience, [StarCraft II] can actually be the model for in-game advertising and sponsorship and tournament play and ladder play for the future."
Blizzard's community manager on the US WOW forums: "We have no plans to have in-game advertising in StarCraft II. We believe Bobby was actually referring to Battle.net, which has always included ads."

You asked for it, and we delivered.
Ladies and gentlemen, this week the MMO Report returns with everyone's favorite segment, WTF Second Life. The recent unexplained absence of our small corner of online gaming delinquency has echoed through many cubicles and basements across this great nation, and we have answered the call for its return.
But it's not all fun and games. Well, it mostly is, but this week we lost Gary Gygax, the co-creator of the original Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game. For his contribution to the nerd community, we would like to dedicate this week's MMO Report to Gygax and his family. See that 20-sided die on the news desk? That one's for you brother.
So pull up a chair, grab your pen and paper, and tell the DM his dungeons are too repetitive. This is...

Grab your Gravity Hammer and Plasma Sword... it's time for DoubleXP Grifball in Halo 3. From Bungie:
"Grifball, the game created by Burnie Burns of Red vs. Blue will be an unranked, weekend-long social playlist awarding DoubleXP to winning teams. We've slightly adjusted some of the rules for Grifball (unlimited round times make for unlimited griefing potential), but kept the game's core intact. You'll be able to go in with party configurations ranging from one to eight people. This playlist will be available from Thursday, March 6 at NOON until March 10 at NOON(all times Pacific Standard). I apparently forgot to mention that the Grifball hopper is being treated like a Tournament hopper -- a hopper where there will be prizes. Tournament prizes."
If Halo 3 sports don't strike your fancy:
"Beginning March 20 at NOON will be the return of Team SWAT in the Social, DoubleXP variety. Team SWAT is an old Halo 2 gametype where players have no shields, increased body health and do not have the luxury of radar. This eight-player maximum hopper will be completely Team Slayer focused with the SWAT ruleset. This weekend playlist will be available from March 20 at NOON until March 23 at NOON(all times Pacific)."
Friday’s here and you should be feeling pretty good right about now. If you do feel great, then watching a group of idiots hurt and embarrass themselves will be like icing on the cake. However, if for some reason you’re down in the dumps, today’s videos will make you feel a lot better about yourself and whatever situation has made you so blue.

THQ wants you to know about cheer-tastic videogame All Star Cheer Squad.
The Nintendo Ds and Wii game follows a year in the life of a cheerleader. Players learn new cheers, practice and create their own cheertines to make the squad and eventually become capcheer. High-energy gameplay includes squad competitions and one-on-one cheer-offs, where players will use the Wii Cheermote and Nuncheer to perform dozens of real-world cheer and dance moves.
“With the explosive growth of the girls gaming market in recent years due to the continued success of Wii and DS, our ongoing goal is to stay at the cutting edge of that success by bringing a brand new property for this segment to these popular systems,” said Jim Huntley, director of global brand management, THQ. “We’re thrilled to introduce All Star Cheer Squad to the industry as a triple-a title that will get players involved in the action of what it takes to be an all star as well as make up their own unique cheer routines.”

The issue of Games for Windows magazine has a huge scoop: The revelation that The Sims 3 is on its way.
The latest version of the best-selling PC game franchise of all time will feature more activity outside of your Sims' little house, with a whole sandbox world open to the fake, better-looking you.
Although you'll have to pick up the magazine for in-depth 12 page descriptions of the changes, Sims 3 apparently will feature less focus on day-to-day primal needs (IE: Less "click to pee" action), with more focus on your sims enjoying their fake lives.
