M'Soft Disputes RROD Data
Posted by Mike D'Alonzo - Saturday, February 16, 2008 12:20 PM

Square Trade, who issues the warranty for the XBox 360, reports that there is a 16.4% failure rate for XBox 360, based on a sample of 1,000 users, but Microsoft disputes the claim, saying that the information is all just speculative on the part of Square Trade, and that it's not their policy to respond to such speculation, but that it's entirely possible that the data is off.
They also go on to say that the methodology that went into compiling the report is suspect, so it's not an accurate representation of what actually goes on in the world of the XBox 360 user.

Narnia Game to Coincide with New Narnia Film
Posted by Ty Colfax - Saturday, February 16, 2008 10:01 AM
The forthcoming Chronicles of Narnia: Pince Caspian film is going to have a companion multi-platform videogame release to coincide with the film's release. And by multi-platform, we mean 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, DS, PC, Coleco, and Jaguar (except not the last two.)
The gameplay is action/adventure for 1-2 players on the same console and you'll have 20 playable characters to quest with, including the Prince himself. The DS version however, will be a turn-based RPG and include puzzle stuff as well as stylus controlled gesture attacks.
The film is out June 27th and the game will be available June 20th. Oh, boy!

The lab-coated scientists at Microsoft keep meddling around with the inside of the Xbox, designing new chipsets and generally trying to make things better...or at least cheaper.

Jasper is long familiar to those familiar with the inside of game consoles, but Opus and Valhalla were just revealed.
