Every now and again, you read a pitch or a plot for an upcoming film that just defies description. This is one of those time. Hank & Mike will star Wes Bentley (American Beauty) and Italian-American superstar Joe Mantegna as out-of-work Easter bunnies who have to go out into the world and look for new jobs.
That doesn't make any sense, does it? What that means to the film is that it will likely be brilliant, because for a script to overcome that particular premise, it's going to have to be good, no? We'll see. Also, this is apparently based on a comedy team from Canada, where they are indisputably funnier than we are, 100% of the time.
