'Left 4 Dead' Intro Movie Runs Like Hell

Valve would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween this evening by sending us a video treat. The following is the intro movie for the highly-anticipated (and heavily pre-ordered) zombie, co-op FPS Left 4 Dead. Join the 4 survivors as they make their way through the infested city 2 weeks after the first infection.

Left 4 Dead infects the Xbox 360 and PC November 18th.

The thing i don't understand is people always bitch about COD world at war because it's WWII and they say that the WWII genre is played out, and yet you guys act liuke this game is anything new! Give me a break! The zombie genre has been rung out bone dry so many times that when i hear the words zombie and video game in the same sentence i look no further....

I watched the vid and did not see anything new at all! The same ol' same ol' SH#T!!

Yes exactly it was a trailer. Therefore like all trailers the graphics were better in the trailer than the actual gameplay. As for game of the year there is still Gears and Resistance 2.

Keep in mind RROD only likes the graphics of the game, and not the game play itself,

besides this was a trailer, and not really, "real game" graphic, footage, lolcakes

this game looks alright, idk, watching this made me think of resident evil, so that kinda hinders my expectations, when i watched dead space for the first time, resident evil didn't come to my mind, i like games that have that unique hook, ya know?

just like after i played resistance, i played gears of war, and fell in (heart) with it.. i guess a game really has to have that uniqueness to be something i get interested in

but .. thats not to say this game doesn't look bad, but meh..

Game of the year = GoW 2, hehe :p.. come on now

Uhh RROD,

Remember the Orange box ports? Ya I am sure you will enjoy this game when EA gives it to you. Plus Graphics or More Zombies. I'll go with crazy fast Zombies that climb stuff and still come for you when the head is all tht is left.

because steven jackson wasnt in the game he would have ran all over them fools..

i really dont know if they could beat the cardinals.....

but they will put up a good fight.....

and if bulger didnt get intercepted in the fourth quarter they would have had it...he was stoopid for throwing into double coverige.....

Graphics are horrible but it could be a good game. We'll see what the reviews are. I hate playing games on my PC so if this is any good I'll buy for my PS3 next year when Sony steals this from M$. If it's any good that is.

oh nice!!! I have both systems. Im settling for 360 but I prefer playing online for free. I dont use live so I wont be able to play co-op which would be uber badass. This game looks awesome I cant wait- its been preordered for 2 months now

all the zombies ive ever seen are very slow moving but these zombies can run and climb fences and all that...this is gonna be intense. definatly renting it if its that good ill buy it.

gettin it for pc man. looks great. reminds me about a few years ago(4 or 5) when george romero was supposed to be involved in a game called "city of the dead". the premise and gameplay were very similar to l4d.what happened to that?

rrod will trash this so much just because its not going to the ps3.....he will cry so much....
