X-Play Web Exclusive: 'Gears of War 2' Behind The Scenes - Voice-Over Sessions

While you sit around all weekend waiting for X-Play's Gears of War 2 Special, check out this Web Exclusive behind the scenes video, which takes a look at what goes into a voice-over session for a project as massive as Gears of War 2.

You'll see the actors in the booth delivering the lines that you'll see in the game when it releases on November 7, 2008. The Xbox 360 exclusive is definitely one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Remember, the X-Play Gears of War 2 Special airs Monday, November 3rd at 8PM ET with exclusive footage and interviews. Check out the awesome teaser for the special right here.

Microsoft is the best for making Windows Live free, unlike XBL where you still have to pay for it *snicker snicker. It reasons like that why i don't like them as a console maker, they rip you off, big time.

PlayStation still owns in consoles. To date they have over 278 million units of PlayStation products around the world. That includes ps1, ps2, ps3 and psp. The biggest game selection of any console ever made(ps2), the most units sold than any other console ever made(ps2).

Xbox has 45 million products out there. including the xbox and 360. and the only records they have set is having a the first successful online system for a console(xbox), and having the biggest failure rate for any consumer electronic device ever(360).

This game does not have the feel or HYPE that the first game did. I raced all over town to get the first one don't think it will be that way on this one.

i bring the pc into the picture because i am also a pc gamer, and the pc is a gaming machine as well as the ps3 and 360. They are all gaming machines.

and you saying stuff like "oh well its not on ps3 so thats all that matters" really shows much of a 360 fanboy you really are.

so what if im helping M$ when i buy a pc game? i like Microsoft as a pc company. i support them when it comes to operating systems and PC gaming.

oh and one more thing, you are the biggest 360 fanboy here.

it still matters. From the 360/PS3 war...its a 360 game not on PS3.

By playing the PC version, ur essentially saying PS3 isnt good enough to stand on its own against 360....that you have to bring in PC to fight it battles lol.

Even so....your spporting MS with Games for Windows LIVE, your basically still giving money to your enemy.

i agree, just barely within the last 2 years these forums used to be so much cleaner and nice...now its become a crap hole. I mainly go on this site now just to look at the news and I rarely comment or read comments as much as i used to.

THIS GAME IS NOT GOING TO PC...cliff himself said that he does not like the idea of gears of war 2 on pc because the first one did not do that well on PC

gear2 is goin to pc. this game looks cool but i wish u can get more ; ; like its goin to be hard to beat r2 cuz its 2games in 1 it has 2 stories in it. but gears has some cool 1 on 1 fights

even if it goes to PC, it still sint on PS3. So i dont see the problem for 360 owners.

If anything it just brings more profit to MS as it will be a Games for Windows LIVE game.

gears2 looks good, i'll admit. but beat resistance2? i don't know. r2 has alot goin for it. i mean, how can you forget about the 8 player campaign and the 60 player multiplayer.
correction, free 60 player online fragfests.
they both will make me forget about the harsh snow this winter but i think i'll be spinnin that r2 alot more...

Fred Tatasciore, the guy who voices Baird, is an amazing voice actor. Well, they're all awesome really, but Fred does Locust voices too.

Well, it looks interesting but Resident Evil 5 will open a full can of ass whipping on this and resistance. By the way Resistance 2 is doing very good, I don't think this one will though, that's just me though. I'm just going to find out the story because the stories likeGears are stories that get me into a game.
