'Phantasy Star Portable' Coming To US

Sega's hit Japanese action-RPG title will be making its way to North America with the arrival of Phantasy Star Portable. Exclusive to the Sony PSP, fans of the Phantasy Star franchise will be engaged in their own epic adventure anywhere, anytime.

Phantasy Star Portable features over 150 weapons and items exclusive to the PSP. The title also supports a multiplayer battle mode up to four-players offline, including co-op mode. Three different class types and four different races are also available.

Given the amount of success the title has received so far in Japan since its July 2008 debut, Phantasy Star Porable will be a welcome addition in our PSP library. Also, it's good to see the PSP getting its well deserved third-party support. Phantasy Star Portable will be available in North America this March 2009.

I love PSO infact I play the gamecube version every now and then still. However I didnt like PSU, the battle system just seemed all wrong it was cool that you could actually aim the guns, but I miss the gun weapons. The new idea of the guns having a "reload" time reall sucked to me. I'd rather have Phantasy Star Zero which is coming out for the DS. Its based on PSO episode 1&2. Dont know any release date for it yet but I hope some one finds out what it is soon cause PSZ is guna be a definate buy for me.
