'The Sims 3' Provides Machinima Election Coverage

Not to be outdone by the blistering media storm covering this upcoming election, the folks over at The Sims 3 have provided us some intense election coverage.  Utilizing the latest in machinima, witness the gripping fight between the Vice Presidential candidates and a dance between Palin and McCain after the cut.

'MySims Kingdom' Debut Trailer

Everyone's favorite sim population takes the fracken-cute route once again with this debut trailer for EA's upcoming title, MySims Kingdom.

Embark on a journey as you try to help King Roland rebuild his kingdom. Kingdom features new building options, locations and much more. MySims Kingdom will be available this October 28 for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

 

 


'Spore' Expanding Twice

Electronic Arts is planning to expand your Spore universe further with two expansion sets. Arriving this November 19, the Creepy and Cute expansion pack will add over 100...umm, cute and creepy components to make your creatures more eccentric than ever.

The other untitled expansion is set to arrive in Spring 2009, and it will focus on space exploration. New planets, creatures and missions are expected, including an Adventure creator where users can create their very own intergalactic agenda. Spore is now available in stores for the PC and Macintosh platforms.

Nintendo Wii Speak Channel November 16

Expanding on the Wii's community features, Nintendo announced that a new Wii Speak channel  will be arriving this November 16 during their Media Summit in San Francisco, CA.

The channel will allow voice chat for users, utilizing the upcoming Wii Speak voice peripheral which is also bundled with Animal Crossing: City Folk coming out also this November 16. Players are represented through their Mii avatars as they speak to friends and other fellow users.
