Q: I was wondering if Macintoshes are overclockable and if so, how?

Mac G3A: Yes, you can overclock Macintosh computers, but this is not a resounding yes. You can overclock previous versions of the G3 and G4 computers with some traditional PC-style changes of the jumper settings. Accelerate Your Mac has more details.

You can't speed up the iMac or other contemporary Macintosh models without some complex surgery involving a soldering iron (that will definitely void your warranty.) If you really want to know how, go to iMac Mod for the details.
