The hunky star confesses his addiction to gear and games,

Ben Affleck could host "The Screen Savers." The man is that geeky. The Oscar-winning actor drops words such as "scuzzy tube drive" and "Fujix Pictography 4000 color printer" the way other Hollywood stars drop names. Catch Martin's one-on-one interview with the tech-savvy heartthrob on Wednesday's show.
Sum of all geeks
Ben Affleck has some big shoes to fill. Jack Ryan, Affleck's character in The Sum of All Fears, is already a big-screen veteran. Alec Baldwin played Ryan in The Hunt for Red October, and Harrison Ford stole the role in Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger.
But could Baldwin or Ford build their own digital editing station from scratch? Are they beta testers for WarCraft 3? I don't think so. To our ultimate surprise, Ben Affleck is a serious geek. When Affleck couldn't afford his own AVID editing bay, he built one himself. The star says he spends all of his extra dough on electronics and videogames and feels naked without email and the Web.
