The veteran actor is no computer newbie. Find out about it,

If Morgan Freeman's wife can't find her husband, she knows where to look first -- the computer room. The Oscar-nominated actor, star of the upcoming The Sum of All Fears, bought his first Mac in the mid-'80s, then switched to the PC later on for compatibility purposes. The big screen star's been stuck in front of the little screen ever since. Thursday on TSS, the actor talks about his fictional role as CIA chief Bill Cabot and his real-life tech obsessions.

Freeman didn't get his big acting break until his 50s with the role of a flashy pimp in 1987's Street Smart. Prior to that, his most memorable gig was as Easy Reader on the popular children's program The Electric Company ("top to bottom, left to right, that readin' stuff is outta sight!").
Today, of course, Freeman has earned a venerated spot as one of Hollywood's finest character actors. He earned critical kudos and Oscar nominations for his powerful, moving roles in incredible films like Driving Miss Daisy, Glory, Unforgiven, The Shawshank Redemption, and Se7en.
In addition to his acting and directing career, Freeman is co-founder of Revelations Entertainment, an independent film and mixed media company dedicated to creative projects that "express heart and glorify the human experience."
