Breathe new life into your Dreamcast by turning it into an MP3 player, MPEG player, or a Colecovision emulator.

Transport yourself back to the early '80s by playing the Colecovision on your Dreamcast! It's easy as pie. (Well, almost.)

First, head off to the [D]Colem page where Marc, an industrious Austrian, and his cohorts have created a Colecovision emulator for the Dreamcast.

Just download the CD image (about 3.6MB). [D]Colem will come in a DiscJuggler format (CDI). You need a copy of DiscJuggler in order to burn this image. There is a free trial version available that only burns at 1x. Set your project setting to Mode 1, Joliet compatible, Level 2 ISO disc.

Once your burn is completed, just pop in the CD (you do not need the Utopia Boot CD) and turn on the Dreamcast. You'll see a selection screen with a list of games. Since the games are actual filenames, they won't say "Frogger" or "Galaxian." Instead, the names will be shortened versions like, "frogge" or "galax."
