Michaela Pereira

Michaela Pereira is host and anchor on "Tech Live," TechTV's live daily news program. Prior to her role on "Tech Live," Pereira hosted "Internet Tonight" and "Big Thinkers." Before TechTV, she was host of an afternoon magazine show and evening weather anchor at CHEK-TV in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.


Pereira grew up in the western provinces of Canada (Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia). She attended the University of Victoria and concentrated on general studies.


Pereira likes to snowboard, play volleyball, read, watch movies, and have dinner with friends.
