Who is he? Why is he at ZDTV? Why is he the Surf Guru?

He's ZDTV'S night watchman and self-proclaimed Surf Guru and Internet expert. Having worked at ZDTV from its inception, he has learned the ins and outs of life on the Web. It is his life. His job as the night watchman allows him to pursue his love of surfing the Net and to provide answers, hints, and help to those who have questions about the Net. He was surfing the Net at home when the night watchman job opened up. He took the job to be around the technology and to be online all the time. This is his dream come true-- getting paid to surf the Net.

He's not your typical advice columnist or TV personality. He's kind of a cross between Dennis Hopper and Dear Abby with a healthy dose of paranoia. Rumored to be a distant cousin of ZDTV CEO Larry Wangberg, the Guru was discovered to be an Internet expert shortly after being hired as the night watchman. Internet Tonight offered to let him answer viewer mail but refuses to pay for his services because of budgetary restrictions. That's why he remains the night watchman.

Most often you can find him at his security desk, not looking at security monitors but surfing the Net and answering the hundreds of questions he is besieged with weekly (having immersed himself in the Net, who better to answer questions about getting the most out of your Internet experience).
However, as the night watchman, he has full run of the facilities, and will occasionally be found on other people's sets-- or behind the scenes....
