Garden.com-- CLICK

Besides German and fixing my transmission, I also know little to zero about gardening. I'd like to change that because I've got this tiny ten-foot plot that could be a garden. Otherwise, it's just going to be a pile of dirt. Opting not to go with the pile of dirt, I decided to dial into Garden.com's Garden Planner. This great tool lets me, the gardening idiot, lay out my garden. I simply drag and drop the icons of all the flowers I want onto my plot. If I don't know a certain flower or plant, I simply double-click for all the information. Now there are lots of software programs available that give horticultural advice, but what makes Garden.com's Garden Planner so good is the final ecommerce link- the option to "order my garden." After I've laid out and my plan, the Garden Planner creates a list of all my flowers with associated costs and totals. From there, it's just one more click to begin check out of my entire design.

This utility allowed Garden.com to close the gap between education and purchase. It's an impressive feat to sell an entire garden to someone who doesn't know anything about gardening.

(NOTE: I don't have a ten-foot plot to make a garden. I live in San Francisco where nobody has a front lawn, let alone ten feet of it. I'm sorry if I led you astray believing that I truly was going to plant a garden. My apologies. Although I was truthful about my lack of knowledge of gardening.)
