Portability and price

A balance between battery performance and weight is key. Unfortunately the tablet PCs we received aren't final shipping models, so we weren't able to test battery life. Instead we had to rely on the manufacturers' claims.

Price includes integrated wireless. Though it's optional in many cases, it's an important feature to have, so we priced the systems accordingly. In some cases the integrated wireless models also have larger hard drives and more memory. Here's how they compare:
