If your video playback across the network is choppy, you may need to tweak your MTU settings. For this solution I'd like to thank "1box" from the Planet Replay forums. He was the only person who could help me. Here's his advice:
  1. Change your MTU settings with DrTCP. Download and install the software.
  2. Run DrTCP. Make sure all settings are at default (or blank where default isn't an option).
  3. Change TCP Receive Window Size. This setting should be an even multiple of your MSS. (This setting is normally 1460 for a LAN or cable broadband.) Experiment with a setting. Start with a number in the neighborhood of 20 and work your way up until you can successfully stream high-quality video. 1box used a setting of 64240 (44 times 1460). Your machine may need a different setting.
