Help yourself to a ghoulish feast of delicious 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' links.

On Thursday's show we're going to dive deep into all things Buffy, as in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the hit TV show featuring sharp wit, unforgettable characters, touching teen angst, butt-kicking action, stirring story arcs, and, of course, teens saving the world from slime-covered demons (and much more).

As we, the "Buffy"-addicted at TechTV, deal with the (shudder, cry) upcoming final episode, which airs in less than a week, we also pay tribute to what we love in "Buffy." Whether you've already caught "Buffy" addiction or are a newcomer to the ghoul-haunted streets of Sunnydale, these links will help you on the way to true Slayerhood.

Fan forums
  • The Bronze
Named after the club in Sunnydale, this is a message board where writers from the show sometimes discuss past and upcoming episodes.
  • Phase Five message board

Spoiler sites

A spoiler is a bit of information about an upcoming episode. Knowing it would spoil the surprise of that episode. Sometimes people get these pieces of info from people who work on the show or from the wildfeeds. Wildfeeds are broadcasts of the show in an earlier time zone. Someone watches the show in one times zone and posts a summary for people in later time zones to read. A lot of the time, though, spoilers are just Internet rumors.

  • The Spoiler Slayer
The guy who runs this site (Tensai, I think his name is) gathers spoilers from other sites, lists them, ranks them according to their probability of being true, and discusses them. Usually a very accurate source.
  • Ain't It Cool News
This site has lots of info and reviews for other movies and shows, but the writer "Herc" has a "Buffy" review up every week -- before the episode airs.

Shipper sites

To be a "shipper" is to be a fan of a particular coupling between two characters. You don't have to be a fan of the individual characters, but of the relationship they have. For example, people who are Buffy/Angel shippers tend to argue with Buffy/Spike (also known as "Spuffy") shippers a lot!
